OTOPLASTY

Cosmetic surgery of the ears

Otoplasty or Cosmetic Ear Surgery is a surgical procedure aimed at correcting and improving the shape, position, or proportion of the ears. This procedure is popular among both men and women starting from the age of 8, as this is when the ears have nearly reached their final size. Otoplasty offers an effective solution for those looking to enhance the appearance of their ears, whether they protrude too far, have congenital or acquired deformities, or simply seek greater facial symmetry.

During Cosmetic Ear Surgery, the surgeon makes small incisions behind the ears to reshape the cartilage, achieving a more natural and balanced look. This procedure not only enhances aesthetics but can also boost self-esteem and confidence, especially in younger patients who may face teasing due to the size or shape of their ears.

One of the benefits of Otoplasty is that it can be combined with other facial or body cosmetic surgeries such as rhinoplasty, facelift, or liposuction, to achieve a harmonious and balanced result. Cosmetic Ear Surgery is safe and typically involves a short recovery time, allowing patients to resume their daily activities shortly after the procedure.

In summary, Otoplasty or Cosmetic Ear Surgery is an excellent option for those looking to improve the appearance of their ears and achieve a more harmonious face. Whether you seek this procedure for aesthetic or functional reasons, consult with a certified plastic surgeon in Guadalajara to achieve the best results.
